This radioimmunoconjugate binds to the breast epithelial mucin antigen, which is found primarily on breast cancer cells, permitting radioactive immunodetection of mucin-positive tumor cells and an estimate of radiation dosimetry prior to administration of cytotoxic radiotherapy.
